At a Glance

Founded as a summer camp in 1950, Oakland School has evolved over the years to become what it is today: a small, co-ed day school from September through May and a day or sleep away Summer Camp Program for elementary through tenth grade students (with plans to have our first graduating class in 2027). While Oakland specializes in helping young learners with language-based learning and attention difficulties, any child can benefit from an Oakland School, tailor-made academic program. Oakland School graduates carry with them a love of learning, confidence, self-worth and respect for others.
